Our Featured Project
of the Season:
TOM's Cabinet Shop, Inc. Bridgeville, Delaware; custom cabinetry, custom handcrafted wood furniture, and more

This season's project is a full size bar we built in a customer's club room. This bar will seat 6 people. A granite upper bar top is supported by maple raised panel wainscoting accented with a brass foot rail. Behind the front wall is a work surface with lockable storage cabinets below. The back bar consists of storage cabinetry with a laminate countertop that matches the granite sink installed in it. The wall cabinetry has a wine bottle rack, a place to hang stemware and lots of storage. The mirror in the center is flanked by two custom made stained glass cabinet doors.

When we returned to photograph this project our customer told us he'd had a party and one of his guest's first comments was, "Wow! That's a real bar!"

All of our does have kidded now and what a crop of kids we have!! 3 Boer does, 2 bucks and 1 of each from our dairy doe. The dairy goats will be sold. We will most likely keep 2 of the Boer does for breeding and everybody else will go to market.

Our daughter is busily preparing for the State Fair and the other shows she does during the summer. All the goats that are to be shown must be walked daily to get them used to a leash so they are controllable (somewhat) in the show ring. In addition to this all of the show goats must be fitted (goat haircut) for the shows.

We have also had our first experience milking the dairy doe and bottle feeding her kids.
